With green hills，clean water, various cultural relics and historic sites, Heyuan is a famous scenic spot for ecological touring. The Grand Guishan Mountain, with the largest evergreen broad-leaved forest existing on tropic of cancer, is a new brand of Guangdong green ecological touring. In the center of the city there is the highest fountain in Asia, which sprays up to 169 meters height. Being once the hometown of dinosaurs, the quantity of dinosaur egg fossils kept in museum of Heyuan ranks number one in the world. Meanwhile, the three-in-one fossil with dinosaur egg, skeleton and footprint boasts No. 1 in the world. With blue water surrounding the city, fresh air and beautiful environment, Heyuan is among the 13 cities whose atmosphere environmental quality meets national grade A standard, and is the educational base for Guangdong environmental protection. Other scenic spots include hills and water of Beitou, Lianping, which is called as “the little Guilin”; the Yellow Dragon Cliff at Zhangxi, which is called as “underground dragon’s palace”; the Litian Cliff in Heping; the Huoshan Mountain in Longchuan, which is called as “Danxia of east Guangdong”; and Jiulongwan river for drifting in Fengshuba. 　　The historic sites include the cultural relic of New Stone Age; the dinosaur egg fossils of the Cretaceous period; Tuocheng, which is the old place ruled by Zhaotuo; Zhengxiang Tower of the Tang Dynasty; Tortoise Peak Tower of the Song Dynasty; the tomb of Yanjian, a prime minister of the Qing Dynasty; the dwelling place of Sun Zhongshan’s ancestors, who were the first generation of the family to emigrate from Fujian to Guangdong; etc.
	1. The Lake Wanluhu----one of the largest zoology tourist spots in Southeast China. It’s got its name because it’s covered with green everywhere in each season. The lake area covers 1,600 square kilometers with the water area of 370 square kilometers, which reserves 13.91 billion cubic meters of water. There are over 360 green islands among the lake. The forests mainly consist of subtropic virgin secondary evergreen forest. The propagation species are plentiful and the entironment is excellent.


2. Longyuan Hot Spring----is located in the southern suburban of Heyuan Municipality, a China Top Tourist City. The spring project covers an area of 560,000 square meters and was built in accordance with the national AAAA class scenic spot standard with the theme of world bathing cultures.


	3. The highest fountain in Asia----is located in the middle of Xinfengjiang River between Heyuan Bridge and Zhuhe Bridge. As the highest one in Asia, the fountain has a main spray of 169 meters, 1068 secondary sprayers, and 618 underwater lights.
